Surveying Project Update

Wild Marlow has a team of volunteers who help us to carry out surveys, record observations and submit the valuable data. For some of the data we rely on remote cameras, especially for recording nighttime activity.
Here are a couple of unexpected images we have captured:
🦅 a peregrine scoping out our platform at All Saints’ church last weekend – perhaps Marly or Roy looking to return again in spring?
🦊 a healthy looking fox that had made it to Lock Island – did they swim or use the lock bridges?
🦡 a soggy badger taking a dip to cross a back stream in Little Marlow – did you know badgers can swim?
If you have an exciting or unexpected sighting, please make sure you record it with BMERC
And let us know, as it will help us to understand more about our local wildlife 💚
