Pumpkin plea

If you’re getting rid of Halloween pumpkins, please do not leave them where wildlife may eat them, as they can make them very poorly. Also pumpkins are not native and can interfere with the natural balance of nature, so please do not dispose of in woodland or green spaces

Food waste bins and compost heaps are both excellent alternatives
