Fun Photo Competition

Capturing Nature's Beauty Through the Lens

Get your cameras out!

Wild Marlow’s bi-annual wildlife photo competition is here again! Budding young photographers and amateur ‘snappers’ in Marlow are invited to take part — entry is free, and there’s a total of £100 in prize money to be won.

The competition, supported by Marlow Camera Club, is open to everyone, of all ages and abilities, except professional photographers.

This Photo Competition is hugely popular, we’re particularly interested in the children’s pictures, so do encourage them to get creative with their phones and cameras!

Each year the judges have a difficult job choosing from a brilliant set of entries. We’re looking forward to more fabulous images, showcasing Marlow’s wonderful wide range of wildlife, and hoping for even more entries this year – so please get out your cameras and devices, capture nature at its best and enter your snaps.

The judges are looking for still photos – colour or black and white – taken by camera, smartphone or tablet, and the pictures must be taken within the Marlow area (SL7). Pictures can be taken in any season, and there are three categories: primary school age, secondary school age, and adult.

The best photos in each category will be featured at the 2026 Wild Marlow photo exhibition on 24th October and in the Wild Marlow 2027 calendar, on sale from October 2026. The end date for entries is 31st August 2026.

All calendar sales will help raise funds for projects to enhance local biodiversity.

Terms and conditions can be found here.

Entries should be emailed to wildmarlowphoto@gmail.com.
