Butterflies of the Night – Wild Cookham

Our friends at Wild Cookham are hosting local expert, Les Finch, to tell us all about local ‘Butterflies of the Night’! Some of you may have already been lucky enough to attend one of his events with us in Marlow.
Les has been studying these fascinating creatures at his home for many years and has written papers for the County moth recording group for much of that time.
You will learn about their fascinating lives, their incredible variety and their habitat requirements, which will help us manage our gardens to attract the widest range of these delightful and important pollinating insects.
We will also learn what we need to monitor these creatures for ourselves, as studying them is one of the most cost-effective pastimes available. There will be sample light boxes and other resources to help get us started.
