• TODAY IS WORLD BEE DAY 🐝🐝🐝

    ** WIN ** A WONDERFUL BEE B&B MADE BY A MARLOW RESIDENT!

Bees are a sign of a well functioning ecosystem.

We are all now aware of the vital role that bees and other pollinators play within our ecosystem, we would not be able to grow food for one. Your life depends on bees, as does those you love. So today we ask that you lean in to this, remove ALL herbicides and pesticides from your life and nurture habitat and plants that provide an essential source of all year round nectar.

THE NEXT 10 PEOPLE TO PLEDGE to help build our nature corridor here in Marlow and include something for bees will win one of these beautiful handmade bee habitats, so get pledging at https://forms.gle/MtnF63K3ohckcCJd9.

EVERY INDIVIDUAL can contribute to the preservation of bees and other pollinators:

🐝 Plant nectar-bearing flowers for decorative purposes on balconies, terraces, and gardens.
🐝 Buy honey and other hive products from your nearest local beekeeper.
🐝 Raise awareness among children and adolescents on the importance of bees and express your support for beekeepers.
🐝 Set up a pollinator farm on your balcony, terrace, or garden; you can either make it yourself or buy at any home furnishings store.
🐝 Cut grass only after the nectar-bearing plants have finished blooming.
🐝 Email your council to change their mowing regime and plant for nature.
