• SPOTTED! WHERE IS THIS? - Wild about our town

We have been checking out the wildness we are seeing about town, the more we see, the happier we know nature is..

This flower is garlic mustard, you will see it all over the place here in Marlow, Higgy Park, along streets, but where is this one taken? Let us know below!

Also known as ‘Jack-in-the-hedge’ this is found in semi shade and adored by the orange tip butterfly that lays its eggs on it. Delicious also for us to eat too, maybe try it in a cheese sandwich or salad! It can get to 1m in height and in biennial so takes two years to complete its life cycle. It will definitely pop up in the garden and appears in September.

Garlic mustard, yummy, pretty and very important!
