• BUG HOTELS - ALL SHAPES AND SIZES

Here at Wild Marlow we love a workparty and it often involves a bug hotel. The benefits of these structures are immense and depending on how you make it, you can support numerous species from woodlouse to frogs. If it is bees you are interested in helping, well your bug hotel will need to be in a dry and sunny spot whereas for say frogs, you would want to be looking at a shadier place. You do not need to make a grand palace to make a difference and a simple tin can with bamboo tubes in or a stack of roof tiles against a wall will attract insects to make a home there and hopefully breed.

As mentioned before the Much Wilder Marlow campaign is about everyone joining in so if making a minibeast hotel is something you fancy doing, contact us and maybe join a workparty or take a look a some of the below links for ideas and inspiration.
