Every July, the centuries-old tradition of Swan Upping brings a flotilla of traditional rowing boats to the River Thames 🦢![]()
Dating back to the 12th century, this unique event sees swans and cygnets counted, checked for injuries and monitored to help protect their future💚![]()
So next time you spot a swan gracefully gliding by in Marlow, remember you’re looking at part of a very old tradition 🦢![]()
